Kono Ume Plum Festival

Try your hand at a variety of unique activities involving ume plums, including ume picking, an umeboshi seed spitting contest, and a competition where contestants have to pick up the most number of ume plums with chopsticks within a time limit.

Yashagaike Mountain Opening Ceremony

Yashagaike Pond is located at a height of 1099m above sea level, and exudes a mysterious aura. A ritual that marks the opening of the mountain climbing season is held here in early June every year.

Imajo Soba Festival

This is an event where local communities and groups set up food stands selling soba, with each stall featuring a different style of soba. Aside from soba, there are also a variety of other booths selling local produce, mountain vegetables, and seafood.
